What is a Site Code?
A Site represents a specific physical location (such as a building or portion of a building) or a logical grouping (such as a division) with one or more computers using a single Second Opinion database.
The Site Code is a tracking feature used to uniquely identify your installation of Second Opinion. Each site is assigned a different Site Code by Second Opinion Software. No other site in the world should have the same code.
The Site Id (the first part of the Site Code) is saved with every record you create and allows the program to identify where your data has come from.
Site Codes are in this format: AAAAAAAA-BB, where AAAAAAAA is your Site Id.
The Site Id of unregistered copies of Second Opinion defaults to "DEMO0001" and the Site Name defaults to "Second Opinion Demo."
